Gaming Computer?

I would get at least a mid-tower case for gaming. The more room you have, the easier it is to work inside the case when putting the whole thing together and maintaining it (dusting, etc.).

The case that I'm using for my gaming computer is the Obsidian 800D. It was pretty expensive but is top of the line in quality and convenience. I have watercooling so it makes things easier to deal with when you have more room and a case designed for your specific needs.

Just don't go too cheap on parts. Even cases can be cheaply made. I've heard of plenty of times when people buy cheap cases and the case has sharp corners that can slice your hand when working in them...

Yeah probably good idea to get a case first, but you should still buy computer parts whenever there is a good sale. To reduce the amount of dust going into the system I would get some air filters for the side fan holes or just tape some thin cardboard to the inside to block it off.

I think most systems will probably top out about 300 watts total at the most for a Quad core I5 with a single graphics card, so you should be good to go with that PSU. Note that power supply designed more for a single graphics card because it only has 2 graphics card power connectors.

That's a good price for a 600w and will be good for your build. The only thing is that it's not modular but don't worry about that too much right now. Maybe once you get into the hobby and decide to build another one, look for modular power supply instead

Modular means you can pick and choose which cables to have coming out of the supply. Not a huge deal (zip ties can hold the extra cables out of the way). It's a convenience factor if you want to pay for it.

Exactly, more or less just make your PC neater but you can tie them down and leave them in the bottom of case. Again, no big deal but for next build keep that in mind

Is Bronze certified that much worse than Silver or Gold? I've seen those before, as well, but for more money of course.

No, that just indicates how efficient the PSU is, don't worry too much about it
