I think the tigerdirect deal is better if you are looking to SLI or RAID, but if you are your budget is probably higher then that for a mobo. I'm looking for single GPU and a SSD+HD setup, so I think the free memory would be the better deal. |

This motherboard will support an i5 processor correct? I think I want to get this since it supports up to 8 sticks of ram. My only worry is that I don't have a case yet.

By the way do you have a Fry's or Microcenter near you. These stores often have good deals on computer parts. |

As for the mobo/processor situation, it's really your call. You could try to wait for a combo deal or do this. Mobo + 8gb Ram - $99 i5 with $15 newegg GC - $230 Total $329 Buy the i5 first and use the $15 GC to make it $314 This would be your entire build Mobo + 8gb Ram - $99 i5 with $15 newegg GC - $230 7870 - $209 600w PSU - $40 Case IPT suggested - $70 250gb SSD - $150 1tb HD - $80 Total build cost $878, am I missing anything?
