Anyone know what this looks like once assembled as a workbench?

We bought two of them last time. I would not recommend using them as a workbench. They're stable for holding items, but that's really about it.

I bought a couple of these last time, and they definitely don't look like this! Don't expect any pegboard or drawers. Instead, imagine taking the top three shelves off the top and attaching them to the side of the bottom two shelves. You wind up with a double-wide, half-height shelf. There was an accurate picture from the assembly instructions in the other thread...

I assembled two of these for my neighbor this weekend. You need two people otherwise it falls apart. I'd rather they use nuts/bolts for assembly. Once assembled correctly they are relatively stable for use as shelving. I have one in my garage and I like it.

I was trying to get a couple of these for the basement clutter room but no matter what Ace I select to have it shipped too it just takes me back to selecting another store. I have tried on multiple browsers and get the same results. I am starting to wonder if the local warehouse is out and cannot ship to any stores in my area.

I take that back it worked for another location finally, the couple stores closest to me must not participate in the ship to store promotions.

Don't yell. Not trying to threadcrap. Costco sells a similar product. It's something like 65$, but about 6 months ago was on sale for 40$. It's made by Whalen. The shelves are rated to something like 1000lb. They're incredibly sturdy. I used one as a workbench (incredibly similar to this), and it does a good, sturdy job. I have my miter saw at one end, and it works nice. Anyway, not to threadcrap, but every time I this goes on sale and I want to buy, the description of the shelves makes it an iffy deal to me. Again, never saw this product in person or have used it, but I own 4 of the Whalens and I love them.

I bought one of these last time it showed up on SD. Maybe my Ace Hardware is slow or something but I never received any notification that it had arrived in store. Seeing this thread made me think of it and I called them. It had been sitting there in the store for almost a week! Apparently they don't give the local store any way to notify the buyer so they were just waiting for me to come by or call them.

Just thought I'd share that for anyone who orders one, follow-up with the store. Mine took just over a week from order to store arrival.

I have two similar ones in my basement. I think I bought them from Kmart when they were on clearance. The ones I have are sturdy, but they could really use a cross bracket on the back so they don't shift side to side. Either way, they are fantastic for organizing stuff in the basement, I'm in for another, thanks OP!

Those of you from prior deals, any idea how long they take to get to the store? And since someone said they didn't get notified, do they usually send an email, call or really don't notify you?

It took about a week, I think. I definitely got a notification, but it came as a notice that my order had "shipped." The fine print revealed that a status of "shipped" in ship to store orders actually means that they're waiting for you to pick it up, so it could definitely be clearer.

does anyone know what the shipping weight is?
