does anybody know how to reprint the rebate form once submitted? i closed the window before i could print but when i search for my tracking # i don't get the option to actually view the form!

When you search for it you can have them send you an email. In the email are two links, but neither works because they forgot to put http:// on the front of them. View the email as plain text and copy the links into your web browser. Last time I tried one of them still didn't work, but the other did.

Its not newegg rebate are slow but the processor they use (rebateaccess) usually its full 3 month, and tigerdirect uses (4myrebate) which is much faster.

Becoming credentialed to teach in CA has different requirements according to the subject matter being taught. Every subject matter has different requirements that must be met to obtain a credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Unfortunately, I felt as if I had to jump through so many hoops to obtain my credential.

In the end, I suppose it was worth it. I learned a lot that I can use every day, but some of the stuff was totally unrelated to my subject matter.

Here are some of the subject matters people can be credentialed to teach:

English
Science
Math
Language Arts
History/Social Studies
Kinesiology
Spanish
Chinese
Industrial Arts
Art
Music
Etc.

You can also obtain a multiple subject teaching credential.

If you desire to obtain a teaching credential to teach in California Public Schools, you would want to go to the counseling department of any State University, and they would gladly draw the academic map that you would need to follow.

This usually entails a full BS or BA centered in the core of your subject matter, then completion of a 6 month-2 year student teaching program.

Then you could legally teach anywhere from K-12th, and even some college level classes.

How hard is it? I suppose that depends upon how fast you would like to complete the program. Some students take their time and only take a couple of classes a semester. I chose the fast track. I went to the university from 7 am until 11pm 6 days a week for two full years and burned right through the program and graduated with some of the highest honors possible. But not everyone chooses that type of torture! You can also take your time and do it little by little.

I wasn't picking on you alone, it seems like every thread there is someone whining about California sales tax. Enough, already. We all pay sales taxes, except for people in a handful of states that don't have them. Whether you pay upfront of whether you pay when you file you taxes, or whether you pay when the IRS is knocking on your door, is irrelevant, we all pay them Just like Ben Franklin said: "There are two things certain in life; Death and Taxes."

Great. Got your points. You are repped for enlightening thoughts. You know why people whine about CA taxes? Because CA doesn't use collected taxes in a good way. CA has one of the worst budget control system, rising tuition of state university system, crazy motor vehicle fines and irrational random towing. It might be a nationwide issue but CA is among the bad. If we turn in hard earned money but still get semi-bankrupt, how do we feel? Sure, I am just whining. Peace.
