OK, I have now pulled the trigger on two of these Timberland deals. I have been a loyal Vasque owner for 15+ years but at this price I'll give it a shot....especially that Vasque quality has been slipping for years. Luckily I have an old pair that was made in Italy that I have been able to re-sole several times.
Wife's goona kill me on these SD's! |

Total $38.42 Not bad for Tims. My feet are an in-between size (9.25 always a bit big (for 9), or small (for 9.5)), but I got a 9 based on other reviews that I read. Hopefully they fit a bit big  Boots that are snug are the best. Loose boots rattle on your feet (at least it feels that way too me). |

This is a killer deal! I love my Earthkeepers. I've taken them for 10 mile hikes and they've held up and kept my feet from blistering. Once, I was heading from DC to NYC. Halfway to the train station, I realized I needed my Earthkeepers for the ice. I missed my train to get them and I have no regrets--I was literally fashionably late to the party I went to that night, and I didn't slip in the ice.
