That's good to know. Can anybody who has this set or any other of the Craftsman industrial line confirm where they are made?

You would think quite a few craftsman knockoff tools would exist (since practically everything manufactured in Asia has a knockoff or 2)

I remember in other threads that people were ordering the same product and getting versions manufactured different places. So it could be luck of the draw.. Or the USA made sets could be long gone by now.

From ebay or a 3rd party seller on amazon I'd agree, but sears isn't selling knock-off craftsman tools.

Hand tool: H USA : H = Danaher/Holo-Krome, ca. 1994 - 2011
Sockets: G2 USA : G2 = Danaher, ca. 2004 - 2008
Extensions and Universal Joint: K USA :

K = SK division of Facom, ca. 1985 - 2004, could still be NOS
K = Danaher, ca. 2010 - ?

So everything in that kit is USA made looks to be all by Danaher with the possibility of a few pieces being SK

VV continued = Danaher, ca. 1990 - 2011
V^(2nd V inverted) = Danaher, Armstrong Division, ca. 1992 - 2012

Oh one thing to watch out for. They subbed in a set a regular Craftsman wrenches for an Industrial one and didn't tell me (7pc box end). I called them up and they basically said that the industrial ones were out of stock and discontinued so they won't be getting them anymore. But I could return them to a store if i didn't want the regular ones. I looked up the price they charged for the regular set and I still got them about 25% cheaper than current price and with a storage pouch to go with it. I'm going to keep my eye out for them to go on sale and maybe return them and flip it if they are a lot cheaper.

They are exactly the same price off by $.34 due to the $5 off coupon that can be applied to the 82pc.

this is why sears is going out of business. they are shipping tens of thousands of pounds of american steel via UPS 2nd day air to get rid of their premium inventory. its probably funny to some.

look at the parts list PDF not the web descriptions the sets should come with better parts than in the picture

Just got my 82 piece set. Everything is marked Industrial and USA. Glad I followed this thread even after the CSR said Taiwan made...I've been wanting decent ratchets for a while and I'm glad I managed to get a US Craftsman set before theyre all foreign made

Worth noting, the case is stamped not for pneumatic tool use.

I had $22 worth of SYWR points to burn and couple of penny gift cards. Got 82-piece set for $18.60 after all said and done, but forgot the $5 coupon. Would've been really slick.
