Staples is claiming that it has changed the term of offer. It is 5 cartridges instead of 10/20. Although I point out the ads, but she claims she is informed from the higher up that 5 cartrigdes is the new term. I have to escalate to the supervisor to make them issue the rewards as one time courtesy.

Voiding the 20 cart recycling transaction and purchasing ink for $50 with 20 cart recycling did not work... Called rewards and they are issuing $40 rewards as one time courtesy..

No. You must put rewards item and rebate items on separate transactions if you are going to use a coupon. If you use your scenario, the $20 coupon will be prorated across all items, and your rewards received fro the Lysol Wipes will be 7.98 - (20% of $7.98).

Also, I think the photo paper deal is one rebate only.

i contacted them via chat yesterday (staplesrewards.com) and they issued me the balance with no questions asked or any coutesy. I was told it was an error in there system since it was coded wrong.

They said it will be a few days before the rewards post. I will give it a few days before returning if they do not show up.

Sorry to trouble you, but are they sending you this $40 one time courtesy through the mail or can it be printed in your rewards account? TIA.

Well, since it appears there is no definitive answer, I will give them a few days to correct it in the system...and if I don't see the credit I will call then. Hoping that this is not a new policy, because if thats the case I will not be doing this promotion in the future. Me thinks we may be seeing changes to the whole ink recycling/rewards program soon anyway. Now that OD and OM are merging, Staples is going to need to start streamlining there operations as well.
