Not a bad deal for "someone." I'm not overly impressed with it and since most parts are coming out of China, someone that just puts it all together and slaps it in the box doesn't mean much to me so the Made in China red flag isn't really much of one.

This isn't a fantastic deal, but it's not a terrible one either.
So it's made in China? The vast majority of all laptops are made in China. So what. It's a Dell, just like any other Dell, of which most of the parts are made in China. Just like everything else is. Also, the Pentium B950 is no slouch -- it is a Sandy Bridge chip and quite fast. Basically, in most respects, it's simply a Core i3 sans Hyper-Threading. |
