Nuuvem:Far Cry 3 $17.50 [PC]

For some games (like Dead Space), it says "This product is not available for purchase in your region" when you try to add to cart. Any way around it?

I bought the code, but I can't figure out how to redeem it on UPLAY.

EDIT: UPLAY isn't like Steam. You can't enter a product key into UPLAY. You have to download the ~9GB game file through NUUVEM and install it. Then, UPLAY recognizes the install and allows you to enter the product key.
EDIT2: UPLAY is crap. I'm so happy I only gave UBISOFT $20 for this terrible activation experience.

Even you got via Steam, you would still have to install Uplay...

That doesn't make UPLAY better. At least if I bought the game on Steam, I wouldn't have to rely on a third party website to torrent me the game. (Yes, NUUVEM torrents the download.) The estimated time remaining is 16 hours.

I wouldn't buy it on Steam for $50-$60, because I wouldn't want UBISOFT to make any more money off their horrendous DRM system. I like to think they only got $10 from me.

The current system works perfectly for every game sold on Steam and Origin, but UBISOFT decided life was too easy for gamers:

• Origin and Steam: Redeem product key --> Download game --> Play.
• UPLAY (for Far Cry 3) Torrent game from a third party --> Install a new game manager which advertises games made exclusively by one developer --> Run the game --> Enter a CD Key --> Activate DRM --> Play

I wish I could go back and pirate this game just to spite UBISOFT.

When you're checking out, PayPal tells you the total in US dollars before you finalize the order. You can also convert from "Brazilian Real" to "US Dollar" using xe.com or google. 1 Brazilian Real is about 0.51 US Dollars so it's basically half of the amount.

Activation depends on the game. Search for "Steam" on the page. If it says "Este conteúdo utiliza Steamworks e requer o aplicativo STEAM para ativação, download e instalação." on the left side under the pricing, you can activate on Steam. Just Cause activates on Steam while Far Cry doesn't. They mentioned earlier in the thread that Far Cry activates on Uplay.

And for those of you whining about this not being Steamworks...

The only way to get FC3 to work on Steam is to buy it from Steam. All retail versions require UPlay.
