I really regret buying this at Amazon for $65: http://www.amazon.com/US-Wire-991...Wire+99100
But I was desperate with the snow coming, and the package ended up being late anyway for the big storm. Do you think it's worth returning this cable and getting the one from HD? The US Wire cable looks superior but its not worth 3X the price. Thoughts? |

My colleague bought it online and told me about it, I went to get one and it was showing not sold at this store for any store within 50 miles. So he went to pick his up and try had 90+ in stock at the store so be got one for me then. Great price.

You could get two of these and make a 150ft cord for ~$40 if you just needed something light duty, but if you've already bought and used the other one, might as well keep it. |

Hopefully you are just joking around, if not, then please get a few books on how all of this stuff works, because that's just a crazy statement.

Side note for everyone who bought these, I was talking to an old co-worker today; the owner of the company he works for (commercial electrical) bought a bunch of 50' 12/3 Workforce cords. He said they've burned up a few cord ends. Still, at this price, I have no problem spending a few bucks to throw a set of new cord ends on. I'm probably going to go pick up a few more cords tomorrow for my Dad in Detroit who couldn't get any. I have a 14/3 SJEOW cord that stays outside all winter that I use for starting the snowblower (electric start, no battery option) and also for the block heaters on my Jeep and my fiances car. It's nice getting in the car in the morning and instantly having heat ![]() Otherwise, aside from length they will, electrically their performance will be identical. In all other seasons, they're basically the same. The Workhorse cord is a 2 wheel drive Chevy, the US Wire cord is a 4 wheel drive GMC

Ordered one online earlier and picked it up later this evening. Site says not available in any store around me but the store had a bunch on display when I went to pick up.
Nicest extension cord I've ever owned. Much better than the cheap orange ones I'm used to. Good deal |
