None in my area. This deal is highly YMMV, so how did it end up on front page?

If its 12 gauge, why do they advertise it as light-duty?

I concur. Im pretty sure I have seen this in stores and it is not advertised as light duty.. weird

I have the same question.
No, fully alive. In Central Jersey, they have a ton around.
Its the length that's making it light duty at that gauge. The difference between light and heavy duty is in the total resistance. The more resistance, the more power lost.

R= (p*L/A)

p= materiel resistivity
L= Length
A= Area, or awg

That, and it is SJTW (insulated for up to 300 Volts), and not STW (insulated for up to 600 Volts).

It'll still handle just about anything you'd need a 12 AWG cord for short of severe duty use.

Becuase whether or not there is any in your area isn't the determing factor in whether a deal goes on the front page.

You can always buy two and some filler or three for $45+ total and get free shipping.

Or buy 6, use the above coupon code, sell 4 @ $30 and keep 2 free for yourself. Still a good deal for whoever need them.

not available for shipping, so OOS online it seems.

there are ~80 in my area within a 20 mile radius. PM me if you want one - i wouldn't mind picking it up when i go to pick up mine. as long as you pay the $19 for the cord and shipping i'll mail it to you. even w/ shipping it seems like a great deal

I found the items in the box along the isle, not in the shelf. The cord itself are inside a box packaging.
