My 3 arrived in the mail today. Seem like decent cords. I found it interesting that the tri-tap 2 footer was much thicker cable than the 75ft extension cord. Both are printed as 12AWG though.

If its 12 gauge, why do they advertise it as light-duty?

"Light duty" is in reference to the jacket, not the copper. These have a relatively thin jacket over the wires, rather than a heavy solid jacket like a heavy duty cord would have. I picked up a two-pack of 50ft cords that are the same as these... they are good for high power devices, but they don't give you the feeling that you could drive over them many times and have them hold up.

I've been looking for another decent 12-gauge extension cord ever since Sears cancelled on me with that red locking cord deal. I'm in for one of these yellow items. Thanks, OP.

I have the same question.
No, fully alive. In Central Jersey, they have a ton around.

Just brought 2. Still alot of inventory available in the Central Jersey Home Depot. I Plan on using these cords with the portable generator that I recently purchased.

Quick question, are these good enough to use 750w space heater that is connected to a 3000watt generator? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
