If you buy MacAir you can get Parallels or Bootcamp and install Windows 8 on it. And of course, once you have Windows, you can install Linux on that. Here's a flow chart to help remember:

OSX>Windows
Windows>Linux

I'm running OSX with Windows 7 through Parallels now and it works good. If you get Parallels 8, you can also install Android 4.0 for free (although you can't download anything from the Google Play Store which makes it kind of useless). You can also download Chrome OS for free and Ubuntu for free, all as separate virtual machines.

1. you connect to your home network and transfer file that way, connect a DVD drive via usb, or transfer using build-in microsd.
2. my dad's macbook now runs windows 7 exclusively. Windows is simply more versatile and has much great collection of software.

- laser and jet printers
- 2.5" and 3.5" external hard drives
- External DVD drive/burner
- Jump drive

I've read reports that it could be 256 levels, or 1,024 levels. If the latter, that makes the Surface Pro a downright STEAL. The 12" wacom is JUST the screen and stylus and retails for 900-1000.

Pen is very responsive in Photoshop, Lightroom 4, and Illustrator; pressures and pinch to zoom currently don't work. Adobe say they're working on pressure sensitivities. Pen sensitivities work in desktop/Metro Word and OneNote.

According to MobileTechReview's review, it has 1024 sensitivity levels.
