I've had this app for almost a year now and it is definitely worth the $0.99 I paid for it. The app has alot of different features for note taking, flow charts, mind mapping, etc. When you first start using it, it can be slightly frustrating trying to get the formatting of your ideas/concepts down. However, once you get acclimated to the options, it becomes a smooth transition from one idea to the next. Think of it as a legal pad you would take notes on, but have the ability to instantly rearrange when change comes into play.

Actually, this is not far fetched, in their reviews, there are many users who said that the reason they had an iPad is for this app. I find it very easy to outline my thoughts quickly and organize them later.

But doesn't all that manipulation risk a loss of attention during meetings, class, etc.? I know even when taking notes w/ good old paper and pencil this could be a problem at times. I think technology sometimes complicates more than it helps. But I could see this being more useful when you have the time and desire to be more deliberative.
