Not for upgrades. No surprise there.
If you'd rather have the HTC Windows Phone 8X, new customers may be able to get one for free AR through the 18th. You'll need to call and sign up under the T-Mobile Advantage Program, aka corporate/association discount. You'll have to be a student, AAA member, or part of another participant organization. Last time the Nokia Lumia 810 was free, there were quite a few guys who tried to pay ETF after 14 days and effectively get the phone for around $250. Did it work for anybody without glitch?

Great phone, love mine on T-Mo (and mine was free). Got the wireless charging stand and shell, plus got a 64gb microSD that holds all the downloaded music I want from Xbox Music. Very glad I chose over 8x to get expandable storage and Nokia apps, wireless charging
Oh and love T-Mo, switched from Sprint and no regrets at all - T-Mo customer service has been great |

810 looks like a great phone. I'm currently on AT&T but what attracts me to T-Mobile is their prepaid plans. After my crummy contract with AT&T is finally over, I plan on using T-Mobile through their $30 monthly cards from Walmart, here [walmart.com]. I can probably live with the 100 minutes if I have unlimited data and texts. I would imagine you save much more over the long term by just buying the phone outright.

It's so pleasing to hear that. While the world is madly running after Android, it's always great to see the other side. Indeed Windows phones are very stable. No wonder their market share is now over 7%. I hope we see market flooded with Windows phones soon. A billion Chinese can't be wrong: eat rice.

Android has improved a lot. Most of the problems were with the bloatware and modifications made by providers. The Nexus 4 got rid of that. That said, Windows 8 phone is a very solid OS with high levels of customer satisfaction. You can't go wrong with either phone. |
