Actually drhass, the FDA allows companies to legally state their product(s) contains "zero grams of trans fat" as long as the amount present is less than 0.5 grams per serving. Any product containing the ingredient "partially hydrogenated ----" and/or "hydrogenated ----" does in fact contain trans fat.

So Nate650 is correct: this product contains trans fat, but it is in a low enough quantity per serving that Coffeemate can legally claim "0 grams trans fat"

If you knew anything about nutrition label regulations you would know that if a product serving size contains less than 0.5 grams of trans fat, a company is legally allowed to claim their product has 0 grams. If the serving has 0.49 grams, they can claim 0 grams. Coffeemate has been notorious for sneakily making the serving size 1 tablespoon. Think about that. Do you know what a tablespoon is? When is the last time anybody has only used a single tbsp of creamer in their coffee mug?

So LIFE PRO TIP: Learn to enjoy and appreciate black coffee. Unadulterated black coffee has few calories and no heart-raping trans fats.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but stating "0 g trans fat" is unlawful if the product contains any trans fat. In such cases where the product contains less than 0.5 g per serving, the labeling must specify "0 g trans fat per serving". However, I don't know what the actual packaging states; I'm just going by the info on the Staples product page.
