I set up an alert for this the other day and I'm glad I did. I already have the red one (chili pepper) so I got the same color you did (I already knew I wanted the onyx). My total was $199 b/c of tax. With the $30 Kohl's cash, I consider that a very good deal. Thanks!

*Oh, but wanted to add that I had to use $10 kohl's cash to get it to $199 (b/c sales tax was $13). I still consider this a good deal. The cheapest I've seen is on Amazon for $213 and even without my extra $10 off, this would have been a bit cheaper plus it comes with the $30 kohl's cash, which my family will definitely use.

My GF wants the Marathon based on advice from friends. This other one looks interesting but is it worth the extra money? I expect both are very safe so it comes down to ease of use.

I greatly prefer the marathon to the radian; I have both. The radian is very heavy, a bit harder to install, and it has trouble fitting into many cars. Also, it takes up a lot of room if you're looking to install it rear facing.

Are you sure Kohls price matches? All Kohls items are over-expensive.

I've got a Britax Roundabout 55 and a Marathon 70. They are both very similar, although one is significantly cheaper. The 70 is a little bigger (It will last longer due to increased weight/size capacity), it also offers a little bit more padding (Although they're both miles above most other seats I've seen).

If you don't want to spend as much as the Marathon goes for the Roundabout is a great alternative - $150 on Amazon.

I picked this up for a similar price ($10 cheaper) with the Kohls cash in January...it's a pretty good deal considering you get the kohls cash and the car seat is sturdy and well built

As a general rule, Kohls doesn't PM Amazon. Though I have had intermittent luck with them doing so in store.
If it were a nation-wide chain store, they would with no problem.
