In my area (Suburban Philadelphia) they are either $89.96 or $99.96. Bizarre.

1. Retail $235?? Just say no to "retail price" inflation! Ignoring that you put a link to Amazon for $100, Lowe's own website lists $129 retail.

2. I bought a similar Cuisinart three years ago. Had to have it replaced under warranty TWICE since then. If you search the web, you'll find they have pretty high failure rates. Lots of different kinds of failures. Something burned out on the first one (released horrible burning smell, but not visable from the outside). The digital controls died on the second one. If you buy one, make sure to keep your receipt!!!

You may be able to do the out of state trick (like the led light deal) . Shows $30 in Weymouth, MA 02191, parcel post shipable (ymmv) .

Would need a new coffee maker but $90 in all stores around.

Well..you're going to look like a real Mr. Dumb Arse when they go to verify the information and it not only pulls up under that clearance heading...but also not in-stock at the $30, for most, anywhere close.


But let me guess...you'll use your magical powers of persuasion to convince them you were planning on heading 500 miles to the closest location that has them in-stock for $30 anyway...right ?
