Lots of Allen Edmond shoes are $90 right now on Amazon.
Oh and I have two pairs of ECCO dress shoes and they're stupidly comfortable, and my dad has some that I gave him and he says they're the most comfortable shoes he's ever owned, and you can also get them resoled with vibrams for $75-95. http://www.nushoe.com/ecco-shoe-repair.html And I do wear them with suits all the time. http://www.amazon.com/ECCO-Mens-Y...roduct_top (also $90 incidentally, won't last as long though) Also have some heritage redwing work boots, but those aren't nearly so comfortable...

I highly recommend you try these on at a store first. Either Dillard's or Macy's or an AE store.
This is just my opinion, but these shoes are for people with "banker feet". Slim and long. If you've got big clunky square toed feet, then stay the hell away. I've unsuccessfully tried buying AE shoes 3 times. |

I dont htink they are slim and long. They are old school banker/lawyer shoes. I have had about 10 pairs of them. They last long but they are just not that trendy with an exception of certain models. But they are made extremely well. Slim and long are prada, gucci, ferragamo or pretty much anything european/italian(no traditionalists). I do love AE MCALLISTER in Walnut color. Their walnut colors are very good as you can polish them and give them an antique/wood-like look. Also, I prefer their leather sole vs their rubber as some of their rubber soles gets damaged pretty easily especially on the heel and on the edges around the shoe. They also have great driving shoes, usually made from one piece of leather, had 3 of those. They also use to make made in italy top tier ones called "Seven". Extremely well made, I bought a pair for my wedding for only 170(regular over 500). They had a cool hidden reverse stitching. Personally I would NEVER play anywhere close to full price for them as you can always pick them up on sale on amazon/ebay/online discount shops. I pay between 50(loafers) to 170(Seven) for them. but most around 100-120. Try not to over pay for shoes. I was in Italy in December and picked up some really nice prada shoes for 100 from prada outlet near florence which goes for 700+ here. Best quality shoes I have ever owned. Wife also got pumps for 80 which goes for 800+ here. Next time I'm in italy, I'll be loading up, even if it's for resale. You also get VAT back! |

I've gone down the wide shoe widths, as well. I had my foot measured by the "AE Certified Fitter" in Dallas and he flat out said my toes were too boxy to work with AE shoes. I was looking for loafers, but the problem you run into with loafers and wide sizes is that the heel will eventually slip with each step. Then, I tried a pair of Park Avenues, which fit great up until the toe box. Rubbed me sore/raw on both sides. |

Wore my brown Delray's today with a pair of jeans & a Burberry sport coat -
I have 6-pairs - Damn comfy and the EEE width fits my fat foot. I've worn through the soles and my shoes still look like new as the leather is amazing quality. Use wooden shoe trees and do not wear the same pair two days in a row. Wicking the mositure away keeps these lasting a long time. I'll never buy a pair of Ecco's again - had two pair that my soles disintegratged due to defects. Ecco told me to go fark myself and refused to do anything other than send me a 20% off Coupon. |

Not a bad price... *clicks size list* nvm....
