but like you said $1.50 and honestly i still have some things i had to throw out since it had no value like nobody wants to buy it not even for $1 on cl so i really think twice about these FAR items.. If you need some headphones for a thrashin and its free or $5 give or take buy in. but if you own a pair of $30 livestrongs from a few months back then you wont need these. but as a cheap present or uber early stocking stuffer i guess this would be it.
Saved a buck or two? Thank the OP by repping if you like the post or was helped out You can always Thumb up the deal and rep those that helped you. Found a sour deal or bad deal Click on the Thumbs Down. What would my life and wallet be without slickdeals?

1. Read the first line of my post: This is probably going to be a deal only for Inner Circle members, due the shipping costs. 2. As I said before, the majority of Memorex CB-25 colors at Amazon that are in the $4 range are classified as "Add-On" items (except for Black), which means that even Prime members don't get free shipping on them unless they order $25+ in a single order. Black - $3.99 [Prime Eligible] White - $9.83 [Prime Eligible] Light Blue - $3.99 [Prime Eligible] --> Add-On Item Green - $4.59 [Prime Eligible] ---> Add-On Item Pink - $4.96 [Prime Eligible] ---> Add-On Item Dark Blue - $8.62 [Prime Eligible] Dark Pink - $9.99 [Prime Eligible] Teal - $9.90 [Prime Eligible] 3. Amazon Prime costs money (unless you're Amazon Mom/Dad or Student - which the majority of us have already used up long ago), so it's a bit unfair to compare prices with a $40 to $80 program benefit factored in. If we're going to do that, I'll just quote prices on every deal without shipping costs because I'm Inner Circle. ![]() 4. Yes, you can get them cheaper on eBay if you don't like rebates. Someone has already pointed out that they are available in White, Black, and Blue for $3.33 per pair shipped out of IL (LINK [ebay.com]). 5. TigerDirect rebates don't take 90 days to receive. They are in the form of an American Express Prepaid Card and the typical turn around time has been 4 to 6 weeks lately. You can order 1 pair of each color on the same order. Obviously you'll have to print two copies of the Invoice, fill out two rebate registration forms, etc. like normal. |

What is the dealie O? Headphone drama on Valentines Day? This is the day for love not headphones? Now all the dudes in here go buy your girl some chocolates, balloons and a card cause I know you didn't already. Wait for the last minute, now go to Walmart and get all the left over stuff and leave these headphones alone!
I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something.

Don't understand the fuss over these. Yes, they're like $3 after the hassle of filling out, submitting, and tracking a rebate (and then getting stuck with a $10 prepaid card). But they're going to sound awful.
Skip the rebate hassle and spend a few bucks more and pick up a pair of these - http://www.monoprice.com/products...?p_id=9927. Still dirt cheap, and consistently praised by even audiophiles as being some of the best damn IEMs you can buy for under $100. I have a couple pairs, and they sound better than much more expensive buds. [insert witty/amusing quotes here]

These are available for a little over $3 on eBay, with free shipping, from an established US seller. After the cost of a stamp, envelope, paper and perhaps a copy of submitted materials, any savings will be nearly wiped out. I don't see the logic in initially paying significantly more for them, then having to deal with all the time and effort of a rebate and resulting prepaid card just to eventually save less than a dollar.
And when it comes down to it, like Dwells said, these are going to sound like typical cheap headphones. I don't know how the Monoprice ones he linked to stack up, but they've received good reviews, and once you've used some decent headphones, you won't ever want to go back to common low-cost ones. |
