I have heard of them sellng imports. If they are not, then Nikon will not even touch the camera or honor the warranty. D800 have a wide spread left AF problem. You could be stuck with a faulty unit without any warranty. Leave Tiger's Wood alone.

I wondered about them being an auth dealer... I don't think think they are.

There's always the AMEX/CC year warranty after the first year. Wink

From what I've read, any D800 sold after November of last year is perfectly fine... The problem was pretty sparse before then; the D600 oil spot on sensor was a much more widespread problem.

Problem is that I would see them pop on and off. But since the same happened to other major retailers (well known Nikon Auth. resellers) I wasn't that concerned.
