I just saw this thread and my wife left awhile to go to Kohls. I just called here and asked if they had one. She said yes, then I forwarded the Lowes link to her and she asked customer service if they price match Lowes and was told "yes". I am now waiting on confirmation on the purchase as she also has her 30% off coupon...
If this works, would be pretty cool...


UPdate. At first wife had same problem "L" on the Lowes one. My wife literally said "Duh, it stands for LOWES" and then they price matched, got the 30% and Kohls cash!

I tried a couple Kohls stores today. First was out of stock and second only had one left but the box was beat up and the packaging looked like it had been unboxed. Worst part was what appeared to be coffee residue on the plastic wrapping near where the coffee comes out. They claimed it might be oil. Didn't sound much better than someone else's coffee.

Anyway, they would have done the pm but not the CUPID30 unless I could show them a coupon (which I, of course, do not have). I decided to pass on what I'm sure is a returned product and check some other Kohls. At home, I see that the Lowes price is now $199 at all local stores where it was $129 earlier.

So can someone who owns one of these tell me if the housing is metal or painted plastic?

Got the last one at Worcester,Ma Kohl's. Thanks OP, the work group is going to chip in so we have a coffee maker.

it is a combination of metal AND plastic with most of the important parts being metal. water came out at 193 degrees yesterday. very happy with it so far..

Ljn, when I tried the link in the first post it shows 199, but that is the online price. When I pick store pickup at my local lowes, the price drops to 136.

None left at the Kohls store here. I was able to order over the phone at the early bird price of $180 less 30% which makes it $126, still less than Lowes plus added 3 Caribou @ $9.80 to take it over $150 and will get $30 in Kohls Cash to buy more coffee on the 19th at 30% off too. So $155 w/ 3 Caribou plus $30 KC plus tax, free ship. Not as slick as the original, but still pretty good. They said they didn't PM Lowes over the phone, and if they did, they would not do the 30%.

Was able to get this at my kohl's for $106. I only had a 20% coupon and the guy wouldn't accept a verbal code for the 30%

A verbal code, that is funny

I love that you can use the 30% off code online, but the fact that they won't accept it verbally in store is really obnoxious. I would order from Kohls online more often but everytime I do there is some sort of problem it seems. Either they leave security tags on clothes so I have to go all the way to the B&M just to have it removed, or they stuff large items into a box that is too small and the items arrived damaged. I HATE the shipping department there... but I almost hate not getting 30% off in store more.

I got this at BBB and use it daily for tea it works wonders.
