Deal Details

Was in the market for a Keurig coffee maker but after reading some reviews seemed like they died after a year and only had a year warranty,so I had been eyeing the Cuisinart SS-700.Seemed stronger and has a 3 year warranty.I was waiting for the 30% off coupon at Kohls to come out.I was going to see if they would PM either Amazon ($176) or (BB $199) minus the 30% coupon, Kohls currently has it on sale for $239.........but after a search I found it at Lowes for $129.35.Took a printout showing price and cashier PM'ed it and then took the 30% coupon...on top of that I got another $20 in Kohls cash after a $12 filler..so actually price was $71 if you factor it in. YMMV of course as you have to have the coupon,Kohls charge and a good cashier. It did not take a manager overide you could try online.Post your results

I have this machine and absolutely love it. Had it for over a year. This makes great coffee. Honestly I think this blows most Keurig models out of the water. The programmable features make this thing great too. You can set it to turn on/off automatically, set a default cup size. You can also use it for just hot water for tea, oatmeal etc.

It also comes with an adapter to put brew your own coffee instead of using a K-Cup. The adapter can be stored in the unit's side compartment when not in use. That adapter costs $25 from Keurig and doesn't come with most Keurig brewers
How well does the refill cup work? I have heard that it does not have as good of results as using the expensive pre-filled cups.

Sorry, that was the prie for Lowe's. Someone asked for the Lowe's zipcode at that price. And thanks for the heads up on the search. I was looking for Cuisinart Keurig, duh.

I don't have a physical 30% coupon but the code is: CUPID30 (expires 2/20/13)

Going to try to have it price matched with that code and see if they would do it at a local Kohls.

I've found that you need to make your fill size smaller when using the self-fill cup. I usually use a 10oz fill for K-Cups but use a 6oz fill when using my own coffee. That usually does the trick for me. I like strong coffee too.

You might want to consider picking these up: Keurig My K-Cup 2-Pack Reusable Coffee Filter Basket Replacement [amazon.com]

I've had them for a year or two and they've held up great. They are larger than the filter basket that comes with the My K-Cup, so you can use a larger size. I fill one about 3/4's of the way and use the 8 oz. setting.

Props to the OP! I had a wonderful manager help me with this deal, and I finally opened a Kohls Charge. They gave me an additional 20% off (after the 30% CUPID30) for opening the card. $80 out the door. Very happy, and with all the deals that Kohl's charge cards always have I am glad to finally have one.

I brought my Keurig from Bed Bath and Beyond. In my opinion they are the best place to buy from. I had the B70 for a few years and it broke. Took it back without receipt and they looked it up in the system and gave me a brand new one free. So I don't have to keep buying new keurig's every few years and don't have to worry about a warranty. Just wait for a deal like this and have BBB price match then apply the 20% coupon they normally mail out.

Normal Price MSRP is $199.99 [cuisinart.com]

Why does everyone (it seems lately) insist on posting Inflated fairytale pricesshake head

I just posted what was listed on Kohls site......wasn't trying to make it look good.Real question is why Kohls current "Sale price" is above msrp.............I think for the most part anytime you can get an item at 50% off Amazon's price ($176) it's a good deal.
