I was choosing between this and the ASUS MX239H. Still haven't decided, so glad this deal is back in case I choose the Dell.

I would take the dell. My experience with dell monitors have been pretty good compared to Asus. Below is my review of an Asus VG278H so probably not helpful to you. I like my asus, but it has some really annoying stuff.

-I am currently using the Asus VG278H. Takes forever to come back from standby and even longer to turn on. (5-7 seconds to come back from standby, 9-10 seconds just to turn on...)
-Also dumb at changing source/inputs. If you decide to turn off one source and goto another source while changing inputs, it will say "No Signal" on the new source and you have to change the input source all over again... ie. I turn off my PC using DVI, while PS3 is already on using HDMI. If u decide to change input source to HDMI right when PC turns off, it will say HDMI No Signal.... Changing source takes similar time to come back from -standby (5-7 seconds).
-The monitor tends to tilt to the right (right side is lower). I have to push it back in place every few days.
-uses the shiny plastic that gets scratched from just putting your finger on it. Even gets scratched from my microfiber cloths. (Like the phat PS3)
-makes a electronic noise, but cant hear only bcuz PC fans are louder.
-Cable/Wire management hook behind the monitor is the located at same height as where u would plug the cables in. So you have to actually bend the cables back up before bending them downwards as you put it in the hook... So wires are in an 'S' shape rotated 90 degrees. No reason to use it.

I am keeping this is because i got it for ~$270, 27in, nvidia 3d vision, 3d works on ps3 too

Ultrasharp has a 3 year warranty and a DisplayPort input, the other does not.

I've been looking at monitor deals for a couple weeks now... Really want to get a new IPS monitor.
Few days ago when this deal was out, I was contemplating for so long, then when I decided I wanted to buy it, the deal was over.
Now i am debating whether to get this again or not.

Someone please convince me one way or another?

If I'm not using DisplayPort, which I'm not. That's $50 for a warranty.

Is there any quality of display difference? I noticed the gamut coverage is the same. I'd be using this for Photo editing.

Jeez, if you're doing nVidia surround/ amd eyefinity, the lack of bezel width on those would rock.

Well, the major difference for viewing is the glossy screen (S2340M) versus antiglare (Ultrasharp). Also, the Ultrasharp has Display Port, 90 degree swivel stand, a USB Hub, and includes a DVI cable (S2340M only includes VGA in the box).

And, I'm noticing the Ultrasharp includes a height adjustment, whereas the s2340m only has a swivel.

u2312hm stand has height and swivel adjustment and a standard vesa mount. It also has a matte finish vs a glossy screen . If you read some reviews you may find additional differences.

Isn't the same model, the one at Costco is the lower tier Dell monitor. What you loose for the difference is, higher quality stand, more inputs, Usb hub in monitor.

The pictures of the S2340M @ newegg are somewhat misleading, there is a bezel (it's pretty slim, but not nearly as slim as those newegg pictures would have you believe).
