Know this is a little late but just saw your post. Yeah, that "Buy and Download" button is pretty scary. But it works just like the "Add to Cart" button. You still go through the regular checkout, can enter codes and cancel before clicking on the final place order button. Don't know why Amazon had to label it that way.
