There is a lot of confusion here. This model is the Pogoplug Mobile (http://www.amazon.com/PogoPlug-PO...B007WM70N4). It only has a single USB 2.0 connection on the back.
There is also a Pogoplug Series 4 (http://www.amazon.com/Pogoplug-Se...d_sbs_op_1) that has 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back, a USB 2.0 port and a SATA connection under the top cover. There is only 1 USB 2 port and I don't think the cover is "removable" (unless you use a screwdriver). Review here [smallnetbuilder.com].

What is everyone using these for? And by that I mean besides what they were intended to do.

Guess I will cancel my order as this does seem to have only 1 usb and no SATA. Also, no ArchLinux for this model.

NAS (smb, apple shares), music server ( Dlna, squeezebox etc) , downloader (torrent, sabnzbd) Or as a client to play net radio ( with a USB sound card) This version is a lot better and cheaper |

So, people use alternate means and make this a good device, from the POS that it is with the pogo software. =) |
