We have a 3D version of this flashlight. I feel like a MAN when I'm using it - so powerful! I can't wait to see what this baby's like!!!

People are right, these are not made for everyday use and there are many viable options for that purpose.
That being said, these are great to have for emergency situations like a car breaking down or to keep as part of an emergency go bag which is what I use Mag-Lites for. Repped! |

I have one... still have it and still love it.
Virtually indestructible. Mine holds 4D cells, and i love the heft and feel of it. Now, folks here talk about a LED upgrade, and I think its a worthwhile upgrade. |

I've had a 6d and 4d maglite, never 5d. 6d was just too heavy. 4d has good weight. I upgraded both with leds. Super bright and with all the batteries, will have long run time. battery corrosion may be an issue though.

I have the 4d led mag. The size is great and the batteries last forever, but I actually have more lumens from the AAA cree on my keychain.
It's nice to have a flashlight you can use as a club, but if you actually want to use it as a light to you really need to spring for the LED upgrade. But that makes the price less slick... |
