Seems to be the lowest price ever?

Anybody know how these sound compared to Sonus Faber Toy Towers?

i have a pair of these. not the most attractive, but they sound as good as anything i've heard under $1k / pair.

this is the lowest price ever afaik. has been $250 a few times. bought mine for $280.

Anyone know what to use for center and rears with these?

I have ML-2 5.1 speaker system can it I use that?

iafzal3, did you mean you currently have the MartinLogan MLT-2 Home Theater System? I couldn't find anything on an ML-2 system.

I think the MLT-2 system should work just fine with the Motion 12's. You can use the 12's with the whole MLT-2, 5.1 system to make your theater a 7.1 system. Or, just substitute the Motion 12's for 2 of the front channel satellites to continue with a 5.1 setup. They're all MartinLogan speakers and should be fairly similar in timbre. The only problem you might encounter is the Motion 12's use a "Folded Motion Transducer" for their tweeters. This is a different design than the MLT-2's traditional dome tweeters.

I think the worst you can do is try them all out together, and if you really hated the combination (I doubt you will), you could sell off the MLT-2 system. The Motion 12's will be a very nice step up in sound quality for your system.
