Well since dell.com only accepts 2 payment methods, I guess you can use a maximum of 2 promo gift cards if they cover the total cost. $100 won't buy much from dell. Maybe a keyboard or something. You can of course call and order. Then you could use a total of 3 promo cards.

This rule only applies to things such as price mistakes and B&M clearance deals where calling and alerting them could ruin the deal. This isn't either of those. Sounds like you didn't actually think about the reason why people say "don't call" and you just applied that to all deals without questioning it. For anyone who actually thinks that this is a mistake, this isn't the first time I've seen someone trying to give away or even pay you to take McAfee software.

Ok, went through the process, and there IS a disadvantage (though a small one).

You have to wait 10-20 business days before you get the eGC. And as I've been having issues with their issuing an eGC on a previous order, that's not a given time frame either (as they tell you to wait the full 20 business days before calling in again).....

OTOH, I added my Dell advantage code which gave another 5% promo GC, went through a CB website for 2% off, so my $32.58 on another promo GC should turn into
