Will the coupon invalidate the rebate? Looks good if rebate goes through, walmart has maxlife for $17.27 per 5qt jug so would come out to roughly $1.65 a qt neglecting tax, MIR hassle. Last edited by ssbase21; 02-14-2013 at 09:49 AM.. Reason: price info |

I've been running synthetic (RP & Amsoil) in a 2007 civic that now has 125K+ on it - is it a good or bad idea to switch to conventional at this point?

Some people will only use synthetic, and will flame me for saying this, but I only use the cheapest oil Walmart has and my PoS 90s ford is running fine with nearly 200k miles. As long as you change it when it's dirty, IMO it really doesn't matter too much what you use. |

2.99 a quart at advance auto for regular or maxgen. That's less than a buck a quart, without the coupon. Pretty sweet.

So you cant use the coupon though, since the coupon is good for 2 5-quart jugs? Unless you buy one of each type and submit for 2 different rebates, so you can use the coupon?

Y'all, there was a $5 off coupon from Coupons.com for 5 individual quarts OR the 5/5+ qt Jugs. It's good until 2/28. I was getting the 5.1 qt Jugs of Valvoine Max Life (red jug) for $12 AC. I'm pretty sure the coupon was good for NextGen, also.
They talked about the coupon here: http://slickdeals.net/f/5834952-5...on-Walmart. You guys consider using that coupon AND send in for the rebate? Just a thought.
