I haven't had a Wii U game to play for weeks and recently picked up The Wire (getting caught up on). Now that I'm done with The Wire, I've had the itch to rebuy a PS3 for a week or two now. It's been so hard to wait til the 20th, but I'm committed to waiting as well.

i hope they made a last minute change to nvidia or something else other than amd for graphics. amd cheaper priced than nvidia

also, is it worth upgrade to the super slim from phat ps3? (assuming no annoucement for ps4)
i love the touch buttons on the phat. and i hate the new sliding door thing to change a disc.

Slim would have significantly reduced power consumption... Plus, you'd get that a new warranty. Finally, rumble controller... But, in this case, it's not upgrading, it's buying a new system (and still having the old system), so probably not worth it...

How does going with amd gonna make a game unplayable. That doesnt make any sense. Sony will be the one responsible for graphics drivers, its not like its a PC where AMD/Nvidia is pumping out a new driver package every month or two.

You do realize AMD/ATI made the graphics chips for the Gamecube, Wii, Xbox 360, and millions of cellphone gpu's.

I bet you have had "luck" with at least one of those systems. Yeah there was the whole red ring xbox thing but that was Microsoft's fault. The gpu chips are actually pretty resilient, you see any of those youtube reflow/reball fixes? Seems pretty intense.

Amazon has had this for the same price since the bundle came out (Amazon and Newegg don't appear to include the Starhawk game, but to be honest I've never heard of that), but I agree with what others have said, there's a very good chance Sony will announce information about the PS4 in less than a week on February 20.
