Just be aware!

The card is only good for one year. All the services on it must be used within 1 year from date of purchase. If you have more than one car this might be OK, otherwise it seems you will not be able to use the oil changes (unless you want to have your oil changed every 4 months/ or you drive more than 15,000 miles a year)

Also it's a "$24.96 Value". If your car uses more than 5 quarts of oil or if it uses synthetic oil or rarer oil filters (many european makes) you will have to pay extra money at each oil change.

This won't work for me and my car.

I did/have. I just got the first oil change with a Midas near me. Shady looking place. The mechanics grilled out on a crappy charcoal grill just outside of the garages. Upsell city.

Them: "How long was it since you last changed your oil?"

This on a Nissan Altima with right at 40K miles on it. Mostly highway, I never beat on it, etc. Also, not sure why they were looking at my air filter if I went in for an oil change.

They also called me out on not scheduling in advance. The fine print says you need to do it. I noticed that on the drive there. They let me go ahead and do it, but...

So essentially, they just want to do it when they have little to no other business just to make sure their techs have something to do.

I was just about to post these same caveats. Some local oil change companies come to my house every year trying to sell things like 5 oil changes for $18 each, but once you start asking questions you realize you have to use them all within 1 year and of course you pay extra for synthetic.

On the face of it, this looked like a great find. However, the two shops available in my area have reviews citing extreme difficulties scheduling service, long waits, service not being performed as expected, damage being done to vehicles that the shop denied, and aggressive attempts to push other service to recoup the oil service discount. I suppose good shops have no motivation to participate, making the odds of a bad experience high.

This website should be shutdown, As it brings some shady shops into business, I almost bought this deal last time and the only shop came up about 30 mins away had horrible reviews online when I looked them up. Maybe just my area, Seattle WA. but there isnt any well known shops touching my car. In there directory. I wouldn't touch this deal if it was $3

I have bought these before, its technically 2 oil changes included and the 3rd one is included only if you do a state inspection with the place.

Your description is the reason I stopped using Jiffy Lube. Techs are trained to LIE to you and push add-ons. Plus, they refuse to honor coupons they mailed themselves.

PSST...when you choose the location you want, just change the last part of the URL to any price you want. Tried this when the original deal was posted, just got it in the mail today. I paid $4.95 + $2.90 shipping

Some choices in my area, but nowhere I'd trust, even for an oil change.
