I can vouch for their ground shipping being REALLY slow, which also indicates this is Buy.com. They seem to hold the item for 5 business days when doing free shipping for no reason.

I think probably everyone just made a little money in this kind of deal.

Asus manufacturing cost probably will be around $160-180. It at least has to make $10-$15 unit, say total $180.
Google probably get $10 for its logo and software.
buydig also has to make $10-$15. This time it throws an ear phone for $9 extra. I guess about $5 profit for the ear phone.

ebay also has to make some money. It may just get paid by using paypal, which mean around 3-4% of the $259, which will be less than $10.
Plus shipping cost: for $10.

So, actually everyone in this deal just make $10-$20 per unit. Seems like the volume this time is much lower than last year deal($229 at the end of last year).

The slow shipping is expected because everyone wants to save some cost for more profit.

Anyhow, I have 1st version of N7, overall it's a good system. The important part is it comes with native/original Google Android. It's much smoother and more reliable than Kindle Fire or Nook tablets.

What do people do with 32GB on their tablet? I barely use 10GB on my iPad. I'm in the market for a smaller tablet.. away from Apple this time. Comments appreciated!
