Having a Hard Time between these TV's..65" 70"

I'm looking to stay in the $1500 area, give or take a few hundred.

These are local prices to me:

Sharp 70" at wally world, it's the 640u model for $1598.

The Vizio 70" E701I-A3 at Best Buy is $1599.

The Vizio 65" M650VSE, is $1398 at Wally world.

I only mentioned the Vizio 65" as it was cheaper and side by side the picture flat looked better than the Sharp.

not sure what to go with. I have the space and a darker area but it does have curtained windows.

I have a rule: If you're going to buy a big screen TV, get the best that you can get.

I posted this in another thread, but I strongly recommend the 60" Samsung UN60ES7100 instead of a sharp or vizio. Much better picture, even if you're giving up 5-10 inches.

The only hiccup I see is that you want to stay in the $1500 area, but as it's presidents day weekend and the tv is discontinued and likely to be on sale, I would recommend keeping an eye out for it.

I will say, panasonic upper end plasma's are the best tv's made....

that being said,

if you absolutely are wanting to go with either vizio or sharp I would go with the sharp quattron model which if I remember correctly is the next model up from the ones you posted. Has 4 pixels instead of 3 which allow it to create richer and more accurate color.

Like I said though, panasonic upper end plasma's are THE SHHHHIIIITTT!
panasonic lower end plasma's ARE SHHHHIIITTT!

Dont be afraid of peoples outdated complaints on plasma TV's, You can save yourself money and get a better TV overall by going with them.

If someone has a better TV idea than what I asked for in 65-70 range for around $1500, please chime in. If NOT, then which of those 3 are the best choice.

i did post the 60 inch ST series plasma from panasonic but removed it because I think it expired... let me dig a little. was 1450 or something.

Are you dead set on an LED?

65" or larger. $1500 or so budget, in that area. Smart TV. NO DLP.

I'm starting to think the ST 65" Panny might be the way to go if I can find a deal.

yeah ive been looking for ya, nothing yet. I would try sears, bout time for them to clear out the new ones in box....
