I just want to say that i've bought the sl300 and sl150, but both had problems right after unboxing. for the sl150, the right side didn't work at all. for the sl300, the right side didnt work at first but it all of a sudden came back to life when i unplugged and replugged the wire a dozen of times.

Just got my pair of 150s, stacked 10/50 competitor Q plus 5-25, 20 rewards from ink recycle! The manager almost blew a load when he scanned the price . They were tagged with an original price tag.
He grabbed the remaining pair. I picked these up in Hawthorne, CA.

Was the box for SL300 shrink-wrapped in plastic like the Sl150 is?

Does anyone know? I got a SL300, but it was not shrink-wrapped in plastic like the SL150. The Ast. Mg. said that is how the Sl300 comes.

Not sure if I trust what he said.

hes lieing, mines was shrink wrapped. maybe someone returned it because they didnt like it. tip - look for finger prints

btw, the broken sl150 that i had before was a bootleg, the little accessories box doesnt even have "accessories" written anywhere, but my exchanged ones does!

He's an a$$$$. You are absolutely correct. I opened the battery compartment and the old customer forgot to take out the batteries. What an a$$$$$$$ the assistant manager is? This really pisses me off.

I wonder if I should bring this matter up to the attention of Corporate or the Store Manager. This is so unethical.

That would have been the right approach. I called in advance to check and I specifically asked if it was brand new and the CSR said yes. When I got there, I asked the Ast. Manager why it was not shrink-wrapped and he said that it came like that. At that time, another customer was looking at another one and hers was not shrink-wrapped either.

I thought that it was weird that it was not, but I saw the other one was like mine and did not think that the Ast. Mg would lie straight to my face like that.

I am going to escalate to Cororate as this is very unethical.

Also, I noticed that the light outside of the headphones are not lit up. Aren't they supposed to light up when you use it? That is one of the feature that stands out as compared to the Beat ones.

Enjoyed getting the first SL300 set at $129, and I'll enjoy getting a couple more at $89. My FBA account will be very happy!

Got the SL99's at Staples in Saugus, Mass, they had a good amount there of a few of the different model numbers; makes me hope they will go down further in clearance price!!

How do you like the SL99's? I'm looking for some earphones and for $30 I am hoping they offer decent sound quality.
