Far as I'm concerned any time you're talking about a decent product with a massive markdown it's a SD. This is one of the best I've taken advantage of in as long as I've been around here.

Hell right now I'm listening to some Snowgoons on Spotify and damn happy with my purchase. I'm even wearing them more than my Atrios MG7 earbuds which I never thought I'd find a reason to swap out.

IMO the only reason to give a thumbs down on a deal is if it's not really a deal, or the product itself is so terrible that no one should buy it for any amount of money. If you're of the opinion that celeb-branded products are bad, that's just your bias. If you're of the opinion that $70 is too much for headphones (which is absurdly cheap considering what some of us own), then that's your priorities.

Some of us 'round here are on the lookout for slightly higher-end products and so a deal like this is a "fark yeah" moment.

I drove to Downtown LA, picked up two pairs of 150s and 100s for gifts. Manager was like if you want to buy them all let me know . Manager asked if I needed more. She had a few left.

I can back up the SL150 review above. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. I thought I missed out on the 300's, but trust this guy's reviews and think for the price, these are going to be near impossible to beat. He did say the VModa M80's sounded better, but at $148 on Amazon, it's no price comparison. The only issue with the 150's is the look - depending on your age, you may or may not want to wear them in public. They just don't look right on a 40 something year old audiophile. The huge bonus on all of them is the efficiency. They all work well without a headphone amp. They sound great on all Android/iOS devices - and especially well on the HTC One V with Beats Audio .

Just stopped by Radio Shack to cash in a few 10off10 coupons. They've got their Soul headphones for 40% off. Wonder if they are coming out with new products, or getting out of the biz? There was a Staples next door (different part of town), and they had 2 paid of the 150's. I didn't have an Office Max coupon on me, otherwise may have bought them. Not sure these would flip easily on CL or fleabay due to the fakes from China.
