Wouldn't it just depend on your level of comfort and perception of value in paying the posted price?

In this case, 70% off (cheapest thus far) something you may be interested in and that others have paid full pop for previously isn't a deal?

I guess you and I have different opinions on what the TU and TD mean then. It definately isn't an act of disrespect. If someone doesn't like the post for any reason unexplained they TD. I figured that was the point of a TD. If you need any further reason for TD you can click on voting feedback. Not a good product is a reason they give to TD, so complain to the site developers.

TU'd the thread because pricewise (vs. normal msrp).. it is a slick deal.

For the audio quality.. in God's name no.

Comparably with the Beats.. I think the Soul line-up is better.. (that's not saying much to either phone) BUT.. comparing this deal pricewise.. it absolutely stomps the Beats lineup.

If you are part of the generation of young, don't-appreciate-real-audio culture.. And want something to hang around your neck as a fashion statement. Then, go ahead and purchase these. It's a slick deal.

I'll run back to my Sennheiser's and AKG's now =P good find Iodit.

I have never seen someone so defensive of TDs in all the time lurking here. My assumption is that most of the TDs were from the initial defensive about TDs.

Let's compare apples to apples here.

First, you need to spend $millions on marketing your TP at MSRP, have it endorsed by a "celebrity" and advertise it as one of the best, coolest, "all the other kids have it" type of product.

Then, you need to discount it 70% at major retailers across the country.

Then, you can compare it to the deal I posted and say your piece about not being a deal.

Otherwise, your one-off analogy isn't quite accurate.

But thanks for the response, it's been helpful to see how you and other SDers think.

As others have stated, I'll just have to get thicker skin and learn to ignore the TDs from now on.
