How much does this usually cost?

Also, I'm still looking for a couple 18650 rechargeable batteries that are inexpensive. I only use the flash about once every month or two, so I'd rather not spend too much money.

Buyer beware: This merchant does not do business in an hones way. They sell items that are very low quality and manipulate the feedback rating on their site to appear like it’s a good product. When you purchase the item and it arrives (DOA) they tell you to ship it back (of course you will have to foot the bill for shipping back), the trick is that the cost to ship back will exceed the cost of item. They know that most of the people would not bother with that.

If you are like me and got a total defect/trash from them, try to go to their site and give a negative feedback on the item, within 24 hours go back to the site and you will see you negative feedback removed (this makes the item appear to look like it’s better than it really is).

At the end of the day, you are better buying directly from China via E-bay. At least you get honest review of the merchant and protection by e-bay and PayPal.

meritline did reship a few items for me w/o asking me to ship the defective item back / only once they asked for return of the item ($20 headphones) and I got new ones in a couple weeks / have you tried contacting 'em?!

Wouldn't be surprised if they tweak the feedback, so many companies do that. That's why we have this forum, sure helps to listen to the people here. On the other hand, I have never had any issues with Meritline and I have bought a ton of stuff from them. Bought a $15 flashlight from the once, it arrived not functioning. I contacted their online support chat, they didn't even ask why or what, just told me they are sending another flashlight out, I didn't have to send mine back. That's my experience with them.
