I know several people ordered one last week from WWStereo on AVS forum. Guess they finally ran out.

I ordered the RC-70's on the 15th - eagerly waiting - they are the black ones. Would it be worth it to get the center veritas 5.2 center in the other color? Or would that look really bad. 200 is a good deal....I currently have a frame to lift my tv - wooden self built around my polk CS10 (replacing) that covers up everything but the front.... Can't find a good price on the better LRC....Thoughts? My entertainment center is a psuedo dark cherry. Does anyone have the rosenut? Hard to tell what it will look like from the online pictures..

If everything else is covered by the wooden shelf then all you'll see is the black grille. You should be fine. click on the photo, it gets pretty large.

It's still in stock, however, JBL sold out for $144. Is it still expensive?

I do not understand your questions! I told you earlier that RC-70's have never been below $300 each before. These used to be $2000/pr speakers.

So answer your own question. Is a $2000/pr set of speakers still expensive at $600/pr?

Nope - no tracking #. You have to call. Mine was shipped Monday and has a delivery date of tomorrow. Fry's doesn't seem to update their site often. Good luck!!

I have the C-300 tower speakers, the C-C100 center, and C-100 bookshelfs. Is it worth upgrading to these to the RC-70s, or will they not match up well with the rest of my setup?

I am by no means an expert (may want to post this on the energy speaker forum on avs). There are some sharp folks there. All I do know...is that the RC70's are great. They arrive tomorrow! I am getting a v5.2 center to match closely - $199 at amazon/vanns right now (retail $800). They say you should match the front 3 and the rest doesn't matter too much. Sub is important of course but any brand is ok there. You could always can move the other speakers for surrounds and/or 7.1 if your receiver can handle it. I have been waiting to get a deal like this for a while now. Retail 2k for the RC-70's. This is unreal...at 300 each.

Funny, FW has no clue on these speakers and mostly negative. Mine will be delivered Friday.
