The new craftsman tools (made in china) fall far short of the quality of the older craftsman tools that were still made in the USA.

Please stop with the misinformation. Although certain tools are, in fact, made in China, their entire lineup is not. Both of these sets are manufactured in Texas.

Around Christmas they were $59.99 and in late January as well but wern't in stock ever but now they are of coarse

These use to be made in the USA. I remember buying the last US made sets at one of my local stores. But the current stock is definitely made in China and not the same quality.
