It wasn't a connection kind of issue. It was more like it will sometime play the commercials over and over and never get to the show or play parts of the show then stop etc.. I would rather pay the $8 / months and not have to deal with it.

so for those of you doing xbmc - what other *$99* device do you have it on? or just waiting for ouya?

short comments to a lot of the conversations
- atv 2 has low level exploit so it can always be jailbroken
- atv 3 has no jb in sight, noone is working on it for the last two jb iterations, and current jb cannot be adapted
- if you have a jb i-device, you can airplay xbmc, but it's a bit laggy from my experience (ipad2->atv2)
- xmbc isn't the same as plex..many of us value not needing to have a plex server running in the background and just connecting straight to a nas

of course not the same functionality...it's the same xbmc, but I had a bit of lag/sync problems, plus the added work of grabbing your ipad to pick the video and send via airplay vs just using the atv2 remote...

If there was a A4 chip in the ATV 3 then it would be a different story, but its not. This is how the Apple TV 2 will stay Jailbroke due to the limera1n exploit of the a4 chip.

This sounds a lot like a settings issue. The plugins evolve and require a change in settings such as the Ad Server to bypass. Once done, you can get uninterrupted playback. I will say that wifi playback is sketchy so plugging directly to a router is the best option.

No worries. But if you look at both completed listings, no one ordered more than 5. Really no excuse for voiding orders when buyers stayed within the limit set by Newegg.

I was only a few from the first buyer and my order got voided. If it's by time ordered most people will have their order cancelled
