Alienware X51 Ivy Bridge i3 3.3GHz Desktop Windows 7 for $649 + free shipping

Waiting for thread crappers who don't know anything about QUALITY or Alienware...

My stepdad has this computer and loves it. He's not too picky though! Skyrim is the most resource intensive game he plays and it is pretty darn stunning in my humble opinion, as someone who played skyrim on Xbox. I might bite on this and sell my Lenovo 310U.

Not really that great of a deal considering the deals you can get on these in the outlet. If you are one of the people that throw their nose up at refurb then I guess this is something to consider. I bought a refurb and thoroughly inspected it to be 100% new.

But anyways I picked this setup up for $550 shipped a month or so ago. Even though this is BTO, I don't see the draw to buy an Alienware (which you generally buy for speed/power) with an i3.

I play Ghost Recon online a full settings max without issue.

Yeah, you can get much better deals refurb, but some folks don't like refurb. I've found Dell's refurbs to be very good, though. Thanks!

True true...a pretty decent deal for an Alienware box but just an ok deal for desktops in general. I do like the specs and the hardware...I can say Dell/AW don't mess around.

$50 is not a great discount but I do like this PC and if it is still around when Haswell comes out, will likely pick one up. Currently have Sandybridge so I'm good for a while.

Holy crap, I thought I had a good deal with the 2500k i5 I picked up in october, nice >.>

I got mine for $650 shipped though [same as this deal ...]. The refurb outlet is better to get a good one, I wouldn't personally want the i3 really. i5 or higher.

also it has a 330W power brick for the i5-i7's for those who are interested [the i3 doesn't, which is why you will likely want to stay away from it].

Am playing fable 3 in a screen and typing this as we speak, seems fine [though it chokes a little on 1080p with that game from what I've seen but might just be the screen or something].
