Product Description

Extendable Snowbroom Lets Drivers Save on Space, Cut Down on Hassle
If you don't have room in your car for a full-size broom yet a long scraper isn't long enough, the Hoppy Super Extender Snowbroom is the perfect solution. The Super Extender telescopes more than four feet: that's enough to reach across a truck, large sedan, van or SUV. Equipped with a broom on one end and a scraper on the other, it's the perfect tool no matter if you're dealing with overnight ice or a few hours' worth of accumulated fluff.
The Extendable Snowbroom's bristles are the perfect combination of firm enough to move a pile of the snow but soft enough that your paint job won't be hopelessly scratched come spring. The broom's horizontal design ensures that the snow doesn't land all over you as you remove it from the car. The scraper is powerful enough to chip through the ice, while the squeegee can clear any remaining moisture.
The Hoppy Super Extender Snowbroom's Posi-Lock steel pole is easy-to-use and durable
A pivoting eight-inch head with a no-stress joint makes the broom-scraper a breeze to maneuver around your vehicle
The squeegee attachment on the broom side helps you quickly clear water after you've removed the snow and ice
A triple-action eight-inch brush features both soft and firm bristles for maximum protection of your paint job as well as maximum snow-moving power
The snowbroom extends to 50 inches, making it the ideal tool for trucks, vans and SUVs

Edit: I found a couple more on clearance: The Hoppy Ice Crusher Snowbrush is $2.50 (reg. $8.99) and the Hoppy Ice Crusher Extender is $4 (reg $16.99).

Seriously, are there any KMart stores out there still? Really? Has anyone seen one, or do they just want us to think they are still in business? Maybe they are inside Sears. Anyone seen a Sears lately??
I went to one just yesterday!
My sweetie was looking for a Kenmore vacuum; we looked in the Sears store, the Sears 'outpost' and then Kmart. (We went to several other stores, as well)
Of ALL the stores we went to, the Kmart was the most dingy, depressing, store of them all... and they only had ONE canister vacuum on display.
What a dump!
In fact, if there's anyone from Kmart, on-line, it was the South Burlington, Vermont store.
We hadn't been in there in decades... and don't seem likely to go back.

I think Amazon had this Snow Brush a few months ago at this price. It's decent. Hopefully it doesn't rust out by December Smilie

I have a couple of these that I got at Costco;
VERY slick, if you're in snow country.
Mine are extendable and the heads pivot.

a definite 'buy'.
Glad to see you been happy with them, because I know I haven't? My family and I have had 6 of the same extendable pivoting head ones from costco. Unfortunately, they have all broken at the pivot point while trying to clear snow. One also had the ice scraper snap off while scraping.

And we have two and both are still working after several years; I've recommended them to others.
Of course, we only use them for scraping ice and brushing snow from our cars. Does your family use the brushes for other purposes?

Snow removal only. I understood when one broke in heavy wet snow, but not the others. Maybe the cold made the plastic brittle, but we weren't rough on them at all. I think it was just a design flaw where they had a very weak latch by the pivot point, maybe yours are redesigned.

Did you return the brushes to Costco? They'd be more than happy to refund or replace.
Honestly... I really DO enjoy our brushes.
Oh, by the way... and there's this brass-bladed ice scrapper that I really like, as well, but it IS kinda delicate.
I can't find them in ANY of the local parts stores
I found an inexact replacement; Amazon does have a muti-bladed one that I might pick up.
A brass blade, in my experience, is suprior to plastic for scaping HARD ice.
