Product Description

Extendable Snowbroom Lets Drivers Save on Space, Cut Down on Hassle
If you don't have room in your car for a full-size broom yet a long scraper isn't long enough, the Hoppy Super Extender Snowbroom is the perfect solution. The Super Extender telescopes more than four feet: that's enough to reach across a truck, large sedan, van or SUV. Equipped with a broom on one end and a scraper on the other, it's the perfect tool no matter if you're dealing with overnight ice or a few hours' worth of accumulated fluff.
The Extendable Snowbroom's bristles are the perfect combination of firm enough to move a pile of the snow but soft enough that your paint job won't be hopelessly scratched come spring. The broom's horizontal design ensures that the snow doesn't land all over you as you remove it from the car. The scraper is powerful enough to chip through the ice, while the squeegee can clear any remaining moisture.
The Hoppy Super Extender Snowbroom's Posi-Lock steel pole is easy-to-use and durable
A pivoting eight-inch head with a no-stress joint makes the broom-scraper a breeze to maneuver around your vehicle
The squeegee attachment on the broom side helps you quickly clear water after you've removed the snow and ice
A triple-action eight-inch brush features both soft and firm bristles for maximum protection of your paint job as well as maximum snow-moving power
The snowbroom extends to 50 inches, making it the ideal tool for trucks, vans and SUVs

Edit: I found a couple more on clearance: The Hoppy Ice Crusher Snowbrush is $2.50 (reg. $8.99) and the Hoppy Ice Crusher Extender is $4 (reg $16.99).

Good price. What I don't like about these is that the brush is only 8" wide. For larger vehicles, you'd want a wider brush to clear the snow faster. Not sure where I got mine from...looks like the extender version but the brush is wider - maybe 12" or 16".

Seriously, are there any KMart stores out there still? Really? Has anyone seen one, or do they just want us to think they are still in business? Maybe they are inside Sears. Anyone seen a Sears lately??

We had a Sears Home Essentials (WHATEVER THAT IS!) in our town up until about a year ago, and then it was converted to a K-Mart and then it closed a few weeks ago. They wasted all that time and effort in the conversion to a K-Mart and then closed it less than a year later. DUH. At least we had weeks and weeks of 40-80% off during the store closing sale!

Last week I went to my local Kmart, was asking an employee about an item I had seen in their circular, she kept saying no before I even mentioned the item, she then told me "This is not Kmart, is K Dollar"
Same logo, the store had some Craftman items but otherwise was practically empty and what they had, was not even worth a dollar!

I actually have 3 kmarts and 3 sears and 1 sears hardware and tool store within 10 miles of my house. I picked up one of each at the Kmart less than a mile from me. Of course they only had one of these on the shelf and had to get the other two from storage, and of coarse I had to talk to three less than smart employees to get it done.

Got the extender one for 5 bucks at the Kmart store in Paramus NJ. The head does not pivot, the pivot one, i think, cost 11 or 12 bucks, although in this link it says 9 bucks. I almost bought the extender non pivot one at Pep boys a few days before since I needed one for the minivan for 12 bucks.
