that resolution on a 14" isn't horrible, but the issue isn't about games. It's about browser and document real-estate. 1366x768 is just meh for any kind of browser work.
Also, I have no idea why they'd put a 610m on a device with a HD 4000, since they're just about equivalent performance.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 610M
Video Memory Dedicated 1GB
Graphic Type Dedicated Card
It is because of the dedicated memory instead of using the HD4000 on the CPU and sharing the RAM from the rest of the computer. It is nice to have 8 or 16GB of RAM and another 1GB of dedicated video memory instead of slowing down other processes or operations.
Also, just a heads up. "Communications - LAN 10/100Mbps" (No Gigabit LAN) Wish it had 10/100/1000Mbps...

Reason: Gigabit LAN
I am in the market for a decently priced laptop, but all these laptops are showing up with this crappy 1366x768 resolution. My current i5 L410 Thinkpad has the same screen resolution and its not adequate for productivity, in particular if you happen to be a programmer/developer!
1366x768 is a horrible resolution. The pixels are so large you can see them all. Text is blocky. Have you tried writing code at that resolution? You can see like 10 lines of text. You can't shrink the font down to smaller size because the pixels are so big the text becomes unreadable at smaller sizes.
Someone needs to slap the PC industry upside the head and make them start providing at least 900+ lines of vertical resolution. And lets please get back to 16:10 instead of 16:9 screens. It's not like the only thing I do on a laptop is watch movies in 16:9, and if I do I don't mind some black bars at the top and bottom.
I still use an old Dell D830 laptop (Core2Duo 1.8ghz) because it has a 1928x1200 resolution screen, which I can't find anywhere for under $1k.
14" screens a lot smaller than 14" screens back then. They are wider and squat. I also lament the laptop industry move in this direction, but.. This resolution suits the size just fine for out and about. It goes as small as my eyes can comfortably read. At home, you should be on external mouse/keyboard/monitor anyway.
