Also, IMO 22lr is the perfect round for zombies.

Although thats not why I shoot it. I shooting it because 223 is +$.50 a ROUND!

*facepalm*

STOP snapping up ammo at these ridiculous prices. $35 for a box of 500 .22? ARE YOU KIDDING ME

You guys are encouraging them to make these the permanent prices.

Lexal, if you're in a pinch and need to go shooting soon, I can see overpaying. However please telling me you're not buying this simply to stockpile...

If people keep snapping up 223/556 like it's candy coated cocaine, it's going to become highly impractical to shoot fairly soon. Buying 22 at these absurd prices will ultimately make the non-panic prices higher though, you can count on that.

That may be a contributing factor, however after Sandy Hook basically every online ammo dealer sold out of every caliber and have had scraps come in here and there since.

People are fearing that ammo will be banned, even common ammo like 22LR and 9mm, so they're flipping out.

For my situation is to RESELL:
Very high demand in my area! Ammo in my area in B&M is ALLLLLL OOS and has been for a long while. We live in a very rual area and where most people don't even like to use the internet (old fogies and farmers and ranchers) I work with a local shop to insure that they are the only physical location in a 150 mile radius to have any instock ammo, and sure I get a 15% cut as well.

What people are paying here:

$1.25 around for hollow point Handgun
$0.60 for ball Handgun
$0.18 For 22LR

And they are paying with a smile and glad to get there hands on some!

and they want as much as they can have and don't argue the price!
