no i didn't buy first, just had it in my cart, and had them call me. then she said she'd stay on the phone while i ordered it, which i did, then once it was placed she took it from there and changed it to $1499.99

I ordered this TV from Paul's on Tuesday at the $1,599.99 price - first tried matching at Amazon, but they wouldn't go for it since the coupon wasn't listed on that page for that TV. Trying to get a price adjustment at Paul's now, but I'm not holding my breath...

I tried twice to do this. the first time i was told my request had to be escalated and I'd receive a call back by monday.

Can someone tell me why people would rather price match with Amazon or Best Buy, instead of from Paul's TV? Is this company ok to do business with. I will get a Square Trade warranty

I'm wondering if their 2% back for the regular price on amazon will still be offered after 35 days after the Paul's tv price match

People price match due to credits (tax considerations). Paul's is reputable, and been around awhile. No reason not to buy, they are authorized Panasonic seller.

PaulsTV shows a freight cost of $800 for shipping to me in Hawaii. Also, amazon will not ship any TVs > 50" to Hawaii so SOL there. On top of that, I had $40 worth of RewardZone certificates (courtesy of their facebook polls and whatnot) as well as $45 worth of bestbuy gift cards from their small device recycling program.

Anyways, sweet deal w/ the BestBuy pricematch for anyone in areas where amazon or paulstv doesnt ship free to.
