at 1500 for the 55 VT, it's very hard to spend marginally less to get a GT or ST IMO.
I got my VT for 1480 shipped, and I was hoping for an ST at 1200 shipped. Price difference seems worth it. |

Awesome deal and perfect timing! Had ordered a different Panasonic back around Black Friday from Amazon, only to have it show up with a cracked screen. Was extended $100 toward a different set to compensate, which expired a couple days ago. Not only did I get the price match, but also got the $100 taken off. $1400, free shipping, and no tax! How does the 2012 VT series compare to my 8th Gen Pioneer Kuro as far as picture quality is concerned?

OMG! They are practically giving this away now. Looks like the ZT series and the VT60 series are about to show up anytime now in stores.

Was wanting to wait for the new 2013 models and the ST's but I got Amazon to price match the $1,499 and used my store card for 24 months no interest so how could I pass this up? Will be replacing an old 42" Panny plasma that I have had for about 7-8 years. Got the cheap Samsung 3d glasses. Off to AVS to look for D-Nice's settings and break in info. Thanks OP, repped!

its been a few years since I have seen a Kuro However....I think this years VT is a better Tv than the Kuro the Kuro may have a slightly better black level...but the this years Panasonic has better color processing and a WAY better feature set |

I got this TV a couple weeks ago from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $1316. It was repackaged but the TV itself was brand new. It's definitely one of the best purchases I've made.

FYI I asked several People here that got Amazon to price match this deal if they had to pay the tax. The answer is YES! I live in California. So in this case it's better to order the TV straight from Paul's TV who is waiving the tax this weekend even if you live in Cali
