For me, it's LCD not LED. It's quite a bit thicker. The screen is almost an inch smaller yet the overall footprint is larger, more so in height which kills my application over the place, and the reason I didn't go with a 50". And I would need to spend more money on a toslink adapter because the audio out is coaxial. Not something I want as the cornerstone of my living room setup.

If it were for a bedroom or some other secondary room, shore house or what not, that would be a different story.

This is their low price guarantee number: The price is valide at Pauls for a few more days. So just call back. Also, if enough people report the lower price through the link on the product page, they just might adjust the price down in general.

And it largely depends on sales tax for many where you order. I ordered from Pauls because I have no sales tax with them. But Amazon would allow me to use my points which could save me an extra $150. Plus it's more points on the Amazon visa. So I'm also waiting for a card payment to hit so I can purchase through Amazon. I'll end up getting the tv for about $420. A worthwhile use of the points. Plus it's Prime so I'll have it in two days over standard freight. Pauls is reputable to the point it's one of the sites Amazon will match. Amazon is easier for returns too if need be.

This TV is "WiFi Ready" and it states the wireless adaptor is sold separately. Can you use any wireless adaptor, or does it require a specific one by Panasonic? If it's the latter, what does the adaptor cost?

Anyone else get shot down by Amazon? They said it was a no-go for two reasons 1. It's a limited time sale (President's Day) and 2. On the Preseident's Day sale page it shows as clearance. She would not budge. So I guess it's a huge YMMV with Amazon - I am ordering from Paul's.

I've spoken to 3 different people @ Amazon and each had a different story.

The first call was disconnected for no reason and she was willing to match the price. I called back and the guy I spoke to was clearly unwilling to help from the beginning. He said they wouldn't price match the discount code. I asked why the previous person was willing to and he basically called me a liar. I asked to speak to somebody else and he said "There is nobody else. I am the only one working today". That call ended right after. Really???

So I called back and got a third person on the phone and she wasn't able to price match either even though the first person I spoke to was willing to.

I thought Amazon customer service was better than this.

So I just got a call back from an Amazon 'supervisor'. Told me they wouldn't price match AND that they had NO record of my first call when they agreed to do it. They only had a record of the other calls. How convenient. Amazon has now lost my business.

Think everyone should use their submit lower price link and send in the go sale link I posted that shows the $100 off coupon and 549 price. Get them to match the pricenoutright instead of calling it in.

As soon as my payment clears on the card I'll call back and see if they'll honor my call and the notes on my account.

I also posted the new satechi wireless adapter that should work because it acts as an access point as well as a repeater. I plan on using it to make some yamaha receivers wireless as well as a blu ray player. Just search on amazon for "satechi router". It's $40.

Why no love for the TC-L47ET5 for $650 on paulstv ? 3D and high amazon rating for $100 more

I ordered on Thursday morning from Paul's TV for $600. It shipped UPS ground from Mass. on Friday and I will have it in Orlando on Wednesday. I called last night about the $50 price difference which they confirmed and said they would refund me the difference. I have Amazon Prime and always prefer to order from them but so far no complains on Paul's TV.
