I tried a pair a while back. Some say I've got OCD, but I couldn't deal with the slight electric noise that's audible when pushing to talk on TS/vent.

thx OP! In 4 1. It's never been this cheap before for brand spankin new unit. I have one downstairs for the ps3 and I love it. The charge last a while and it has a audio in so I can hook my mp3 to it. I am buying a second set for the bedroom for the tv. The wife doesn't like to fall asleep or wake up to me watching violent action packed movies, LOL.

Also, Fry's you need to build a couple stores in the DMV area and give bestbuy some competition.

Surprised this isn't getting much attention. This really is the cheapest it's ever been, even with the $9 shipping for me.

Yep, sounds about right. I've read about users using it solely as a PC mic and headset for Skype, etc. with no problems. But I've also read though that PC driver support isn't the greatest, so watch out for auto-shutoff issues (there's varied reports though saying it's a defect in only some of them?).

Also, doing more research, I'm pretty glad I made this purchase. Reviews from CNET and other places (http://reviews.cnet.com/headsets/...85065.html) note the excellent stereo sound quality and battery life (10 hours), despite not having the virtual 5.1 surround sound that more pricier Turtle Beaches and the Sony Wireless Headset tout.

The headset at this price is also probably higher quality than Turtle Beaches in this price range, not to mention the additional wireless capability and ability to change between THREE different inputs at once (PS3, 360, and PC).

using a g930 on my pc at the moment, and the fit feel and quality of the build feles excellent. this shares the same headband and ear configuration. Bought one of these for my cable box and xbox combo.
